Holden is currently hiring for the following positions:
Junior Visual Designer (Part-Time)
We’re looking for a creative and passionate part-time Junior Visual Designer who’s ready to help us reimagine the jewelry shopping experience. The candidate must be based in NYC/able to commute to Manhattan. In this role, you will assist our Head of Visuals in maintaining and developing our visual identity across all marketing touchpoints. There are few purchases as important (and confusing!) as wedding, engagement, and fine jewelry, and we have the potential to meaningfully help couples navigate that journey with our visual identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow the overall creative direction and assist in developing branding materials and marketing assets such as but not limited to i.e. weekly emails, social graphics, web assets
- Work with our Social Media team as needed for digital branding, cropping, and video needs
- Assist in photography/photoshoots, photo retouching, and maintaining an organized asset library
- Assist in data entry as needed for product launches
- Be an evangelist of the Holden brand; engage with our customers and build a community that celebrates every couple
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of professional experience in Graphic/Visual Design
- A strong eye for design, aesthetics, typography and attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and pivot nimbly between projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and XD (additional programs are a bonus)
- Ability to navigate all social media platforms and be comfortable on camera (not necessary but a plus)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must submit link to portfolio with resume to be considered
REQUIREMENTS
- This position is in person between our Soho showroom and Midtown office
- The ideal candidate is available to work at least 24 hours per week, Tuesday through Thursday
